Last week was such a fun week for the girls! On Monday, we had our small group over to celebrate Thanksgiving. It was so much fun getting together outside of the church for some good ole' fellowship. The food was A-mazing. We had a smoked turkey that was UN-believable, sweet potato casserole, dressing, green bean & squash casseroles, and an apple pie with vanilla ice cream. It felt like a true Thanksgiving meal!!!!!
On Thursday, a group of us got together and went to the Montgomery Zoo. It was the girls' first trip to the zoo and they loved it! We went in the afternoon and they stayed awake until their late afternoon nap. All of the girls were so peaceful...I think they all enjoyed being outside. I know they don't know what the animals are, but they had fun just looking around and observing a different environment. It was such a nice, relaxing afternoon with friends.
Then, on Saturday, we had two of my college roommates/sorority sisters come over to watch the Auburn game. It was so nice spending some quality time just catching up. We live so close to one another but sometimes life just gets busy!!!! We had the best time hanging out and cheering on our Auburn Tigers against UGA. We are so pumped that Auburn is going to the SEC championship! Warrrrrrrrrrr Eagle, Hey!!!!
Finally, we had a really special visitor come by our house early this week. Our sweet NICU nurse, Kirby came to get some lovin' from her girls!!!! We are so thankful that Kirby loves our girls so much and wants to be apart of their lives. It is such a neat bond that they share!
Kirby gave each of the girls this bear that Maralee is holding. We have started to call it our "Kirby Bear" and Maralee especially loves it!!!!! She sleeps with it every night now :)
Okay, so I have to leave you with this picture. We had a cold day so I bundled the girls up and snapped this shot. Oh, how I adore these little toboggans! Thanks Aunt Kate!!!!!
Till next time, let your light shine!
