Speckled Eggs

I love the charming look of decorating with speckled eggs for Easter.  Place them in a wooden basket or a clear bowl and you have a perfect centerpiece to your Easter table!  I also love finding little doses of these eggs in a bathroom or living room.  These eggs are from Pottery Barn and can be ordered here.  I have also found some less expensive eggs at JoAnn's.

Evernote

Instead of having a million different Word files at home and at work, try using Evernote. Evernote makes it easy to remember things big and small from your notable life using your computer, phone, and the web. Everything you capture is automatically processed, indexed, and made searchable. If you like, you can add tags or organize notes into different notebooks. Search for notes by keywords, titles, and tags. Evernote magically makes printed and handwritten text inside your images searchable, too. Put your thoughts, ideas, inspiration, and things to remember all in one place.  Ahhh, a place to organize everything...gotta love it!

Cherry Blossom Flower Arrangement

Agave Nectar

I'm a huge fan of Giada and she has used Agave Nectar in several of her Giada at Home recipes.  I decided to buy it and it is really good! While agave (pronounced ah-GAH-vay) is best recognized as the plant from which tequila is made, it has also been used for thousands of years as an ingredient in food. The nectar made from the plant is known in Mexico as aguamiel, or "honey water." Now, due to increasing awareness of agave nectar's many beneficial properties, it is becoming the preferred sweetener of health conscious consumers, doctors, and natural foods cooks alike.  The taste of agave nectar is comparable, though not identical, to honey. Many people who do not like the taste of honey find agave a more palatable choice. It also has none of the bitter aftertaste associated with artificial sweeteners.  I bought this item at Publix in the organic section near the syrups.

Cheesy Chicken Croissants

Want another way to eat your flaky croissants?  Try this family favorite recipe.  It resembles a big pile of cheesy goodness!!!!

Boil 3-4 boneless skinless chicken breasts.  Mix together 2 cans of cream of chicken soup with one cup of milk and lots of cheese (about one cup).  Add salt and pepper.

Once chicken is cooled, shred it up and roll inside Pillsbury croissants.  I usually use eight croissants.  Put in Pyrex dish and cover with sauce.  Bake on 350 for 45 minutes to an hour, depending on croissants.  Yummy with green bean casserole or pour some sauce over rice.
