Lately, the word expectation has been on my heart.  I believe expectations are good things to strive for; not something that should be buried inside to never come to be.  Below is this month's memory verse; and I love the hope it gives me for each day:

"In the morning, O Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation"

-Psalm 5:3

To carry on with my new series, 31 Days of Truth, here is my truth for the day: I'm not great at memorization.  These monthly memory verses are as much for me as they are for all of you but I must admit that some months I don't remember the verses very well.  To help me, I will write the verse on an index card and put it on my cork board in the office but I am not good at repeating the verse over and over.  Anybody else struggle with that?  My best advice is to just try our best.  Even if the verses aren't memorized line by line, I think it is important to recognize the truth in each statement and apply that to our daily lives.

Till next time, let your light shine!

Blessings, christen
