Lately, Raleigh and I have desperately needed a break.  From keeping the house clean, to work, and a million other things under the sun.  So we packed our bags, loaded the van, and headed south for the weekend.  Adeline was on antibiotics and Raleigh had a minor procedure done on his leg but we knew we would rather spend the weekend recovering at the beach instead of in Montgomery.  Boy, were we right.  The salty air and cool breeze were just what we needed.  We had great conversation about our marriage and this life that we are making together with our girls.  We came back with the marks of sunshine on our faces and the feeling of rest in our souls.  A weekend break sure did do us some good. Here are some pictures from our first trip to the beach this year.  We can't wait to go back soon!

Adeline & Maralee had just as much fun this trip as they did last summer!

Maralee being silly

Already, we can tell that they will find plenty of fun on their own...Raleigh and I actually were able to sit and watch as they played independently!

Testing out the water with dad

Staying hydrated!

Saturday, we just hung out on the porch watching the sunset.  Mommy realized that this wasn't safe but she took a picture right before she made us get down :)

My Maralee

Showing us what the Indians do

Okay, I'll do it again :)

Adeline had a rough afternoon but returned to her happy self by evening

Silly Girls

So curious these days

Heading back out (Maralee)

A beautiful end to the day

Till next time, let your light shine!
