It's Monday. Love is moving today. Loves moves in the early morn from the bed to the belly to the bus to start the day. The people that surround you are love in motion. From hugs to kisses to texts to phone calls, love is about communicating this feeling to others. It's about making time for tea parties or a home cooked meal. Love is about being with someone just to let them know that you care.
Love can be found in the daily. From the dishes to the laundry; it shows itself in the most ordinary of ways. This is good, this kind of love. The daily love might seem trite but it is necessary. Routine showings of love keep us safe, grounded.
Because life and love aren't always safe. Sometimes circumstances alter our days, like a car catching water under the tires. We feel out of control and wonder why. Why, we ask? Why, why, why?
God proves to be good to the man who passionately waits, to the woman who diligently seeks. It's a good thing to quietly hope, quietly hope for help from God. It's a good thing when you're young to stick it out through the hard times (Lamentations 3:25-27, The Message).
God gives us the hard not for us to stand still in it but to move through it. He wants us to run to him like the disciples ran to Jesus' open tomb. Love is about believing instead of doubting. Love says keep kneeling, keep riding, keep sailing. Love tells our hearts that this too shall pass.
Let love move through you today. Soak it in and give it out. Be reminded that hope is around the bend. Passionately wait, diligently seek.
Till next time, let your light shine!
