Now that the calendar officially says fall, it's time to transition our summer wardrobes into looks that welcome the cooler weather. Stitches of floral patterns and crocheted sweaters are just a few of my favorite things for fall fashion. Boho Chic is still in full swing as well as looks with a romantic twist. Altar'd State, a company that stands out for good, has so many beautiful clothes perfect for fall tailgates, campfires, and festivities. Here are three of their latest trends that I just couldn't resist sharing:
1. Romantic Dress and Cowboy Boots
This pairing of rustic boots with a sweet dress is both sophisticated and southern. The pearls keep the look classic and I love the detail on the boots. Wear this outfit to church on Sunday morning, sorority chapter meetings or to an afternoon baby shower. As the weather gets cooler, a loose sweater could easily be thrown over your shoulders.
2. Open Weave Sweaters and Multiple Necklaces
I live in Alabama and the weather stays warm until late October so this lightweight sweater is perfect to wear over one of my sundresses. I'm also a huge fan of necklaces and love the tribal feel of both the long and short necklaces that Liz is wearing in the pictures.
3. Cuffed Jeans and Booties
This is a must look for fall. Altar'd State had so many colors and styles of skinny jeans that will look so cute with a pair of open or closed toed booties. My husband always says that I have a jean problem but my response to him is that a girl can never have too many pairs of jeans. They also have an amazing line of booties to go with the jeans. One of my favorites are these Fringe Booties - how cute are these? They'd also pair well with the appliqued cut-off shorts in the first picture and a long open faced sweater to top off the Boho look.
While Altar'd State always beckons me to enter their store with their beautiful clothes, what I enjoy most about their company is my shopping experience. Their stores are full of encouraging messages ranging from home decor to books to even inspirational words on the dressing room mirrors. I appreciate the message that their clothes portray.
Altar'd State is a company that gives back to missions one store at a time. Each store sponsors a child in Peru and Altar'd State is currently funding a $201,000 construction project to build these children a high school and disaster relief center for the community in Peru. Also, if you shop on Mondays, 10% of their sales are donated to different local charities. For October, they will be focusing on Breast Cancer awareness. By shopping at your local store, you are buying clothes for good causes, which helps you to feel good about the purchases you make.
Now that fall is here, I'm ready to spruce up my closet with these transitional pieces. Also, many of these items (Fashion Tops & Sweater and Shoes) are BOGO 50% off until October 4th! Like Altar'd State on Facebook to see their latest fall style inspiration.
