mother's day
This past Sunday, I got to do something I've always wanted to do.

I shared my heart to our congregation.

It was scary. Exciting. Intimidating. Thrilling. Amazing.

Our pastors invited me to speak about being a mom on Mother's Day. It was such an honor to share what God has been teaching me, not only about motherhood, but about life. My message was based around Ecclesiastes 3:1, "There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven."

If you'd like to watch it, you can head over to covenantdothan.org.

Afterward, many people said, "You were great! I had no idea that you could speak like that!" It made me blush every time but I also realized that they were right...I'm not very vocal about my passion to speak. I think it's been a confidence thing but I'm becoming more confident each and every day that this is what God wants me to do.

So, I'd like to be brave and put it out there. I'd like to speak more, and I'd love to come to you.

If your church or ministry ever needs a guest speaker for an event, I'd love for you to consider inviting me. I'm passionate about encouraging people in their faith and would love the opportunity to share Jesus with your group. You can also visit my speaking page to see some other talks that I've given at women's conferences, youth events, and girl retreats. I'm always happy to tailor a session to fit your needs.

If you'd like to talk about me coming to your event, feel free to message me on Facebook.

Again, Sunday was a gift for me and I appreciate the support of my friends, family, and community as I shared.

Till next time, let your light shine!

Blessings,

christen
