As we begin a new year, I wanted to share with you a few updates and also say a huge THANK YOU for your support in 2017. Moving forward, my prayer for you and I are to be people who live, truly live in the abundant goodness and grace of God.
You can read more about what this looks like exactly in today's post.
After six years of writing on my blog, last year I was finally given the opportunity to write a book. Many of you have been with me on this journey of writing and releasing Invited and I can't thank you enough for your support. It truly has been a dream come true. But, what I haven't shared about as much is how this process has affected me on a personal level...what life behind social media has looked like - and that's what I'd like to share today.
Sharing begins with small groups. God places people together in small groups to connect his church to greater serve the community. Just as we gather round the fire grill, waiting for the pizza to be fully cooked, so must the church gather in small groups to be in community. In today's post, we learn not only how to make a homemade pizza, but what living in the community looks like for the church.
To celebrate Christmas and the pre-release of my first book, Invited, I've created some fun Christmas bundles that make perfect gifts for yourself or friends. Take a peek inside the editing process of writing a book with today's post and learn how you are invited to live a life of connection, not perfection.
I've got a secret that I just can't keep any longer. I'm going to be a published author! I'm writing a book called Invited that will be released next spring and it's about finding community and celebrating the people we love. We gather for grand events like engagement dinners, baby showers, and first birthdays. Or, we celebrate simply with backyard barbecues, football tailgates, and no-fuss girl nights. While some celebrations require more planning than others, every event is an opportunity to practice hospitality. Read more details in today's post!
