Hello! Good Morning!  How ya doin'?! I am way too excited about our new community study on The Uncontainable Truth.  The book that we will be reading together is called Grace for the Good Girl.  Y'all this title screams out my name!!!!  For those of you who know me personally, I hate being bad.  I feel safe being the good girl.  That doesn't mean I don't have faults or do things that I'm not proud of (because I certainly have plenty and I make mistakes daily with my relationships and choices) but overall I try my best to live life...good.

Grace for the Good Girl is for all of us gals that go to bed wishing that they had done more with their day even though we might have worked a full schedule, cleaned up after our chillins' and made our husband a home cooked meal as we folded laundry.  We are the Type-A gals, the ones who want to be at the top of the list, the girls who strive for perfection.  Wow, anyone else tired hearing that list of good-girlness?  I sure am and that is why I can't wait to dig in to this new book by Emily Freeman.  Below is a video that explains more:

I would like to encourage all of you to join me in this study.  The good girl comes in all ages and from all backgrounds.  We will begin the study in two weeks on Wednesday, September 28th.  You can purchase the book on Amazon for less than $10 and you can also buy it for your digital reader/tablet.  If you are interested in participating, do you mind just leaving a shout-out in the comments section below so I have an idea of how many good girls are out there and reading?  Thanks :)

Every Sunday evening, I get the privilege of gathering with a small group of eleventh grade girls.  I love this time of fellowship with these young ladies and to have the brief opportunity to lift them up as they go through their week.  Our youth is so busy with school, activities, family, and friends that they sometimes struggle with finding time to get everything done.  They are striving so hard to succeed and it can be really stressful on their young hearts.  A book like this can challenge us all to break free from the try-hard life.

So, more info and details next week but get ready for this new study!!!!  Remember to leave a comment if you are thinking about participating!!!!

Till next time, let your light shine!

Blessings, christen
