Five Minute Fridays is a writing flash mob held by the lovely Lisa-Jo at The Gypsy Mama.  It's where a community of writers come together and write about one word for five minutes.  This week's word is wonder.

It's a {wonder}ful thing.

How it crosses borders, opens gates, and unleashes the best medicine any soul could ever receive.  Love isn't just an emotion or a word; it's a way of living.  Living by love creates radical change in your life and mine.  I've seen it time and time again.  Like:

- When my friends crossed an ocean out of love and adopted a little girl from Ethiopia.  Her once blank eyes are filled bright with wonder today.

- Or, the time when my uncle had a heart attack.  My grandfather was overcome with love and support for his sick son.  The family gathered in prayer and support and we were all in awestruck wonder that my uncle survived his surgery.

- My jaw drops in wonder every time I hear about a success story from sex trafficking. How girls at Stella's House get out of the pit of prostitution and set out on a future truly filled with their Father's love.

-When I was a horrible mother and instead of pitching a fit, my Adeline hugged me instead saying, "I love you so much."  To hear those simple words from a toddler's mouth shook my soul with wonder and thankfulness.

Love covers pain and our sins.  Love allows us to live in the true form of our Father that created us all those years ago.  Love is an act of wonder.

Till next time, let your light shine!
